TREASURE HUNT! Kiddies can search and dig for treasure at the lake beginning at 9:30 am. Bring a sand bucket/ bag to collect your treasure! This is recommended for ages 10 and younger. There will be a separate section for children under 5!

The shore of our lake beach are teeming with pirate booty waiting to be unearthed! Young adventurers will find doubloons, treasure boxes, swords, toys, and more buried beneath the sand. It's a quest fit for the most daring of pirates!

Pirate-Themed Fun: Before and after the treasure hunt, immerse yourself in the pirate spirit with themed tattoos and receive an official "OVR Pirate for a Day" certificate to commemorate your daring escapades.

Bring Your Buckets and Shovels: Don't forget to pack your trusty buckets and shovels for the hunt. The more prepared you are, the better your chances of uncovering the hidden treasures of the high seas!

Win a Treasure Chest by guessing the number of gold doubloons! Come on into the store if you are feeling lucky. The winner will be announced Sunday morning.

Guessing will run from Thursday to Saturday. One guess per person please. The winner wins a bucket full of prizes!

Join us for a sand sculpting contest at the lake! This is for all ages. You can work in a group or by yourself, and everyone will be given time to complete their sand sculpture/castle. Get creative! There will be prizes! 9 am.

Join us in the courtyard as Steve Szwatka from NJ Nature visits OVR and brings some of his exotic and not so exotic animals for a visit. This event is educational and participants get to up close and personal with the animal friends.

Come celebrate your Fourth of July with a bike parade! This is the fourth annual one, and was created by a wonderful seasonal camper, Alicia!
Decorate your bikes for a bike parade in the lake parking lot at 9 am.  There will be music, photo ops, and prizes for best bikes. We cannot wait to see your creativity! 

Parade Highlights: Deck out your bikes, wagons, scooters, and even your pets in the most patriotic decor you can imagine! Join us at the Mini Golf Parking Lot to kick off the parade, where your festive creations will weave their way around the lake parking lot in a burst of 4th of July pride.
Photo-Op Extravaganza: Capture the memories with our special photo backdrop under the lake pavilion! Arrive early or stick around after the parade to take snapshots with friends and family against a backdrop of festive Independence Day decorations.

Community Camaraderie: This is more than just a parade; it's an opportunity for our OVR campers to come together and celebrate the spirit of independence. Join fellow campers in displaying your patriotic flair and waving to friends along the parade route.

Prizes for Creativity: Show off your creative side! Prizes will be awarded for the most creative and patriotic entries, so don't hold back – let your imagination run wild.

Spectator Information: For those not participating in the parade, we invite you to line up around the lake parking lot to cheer on your fellow campers.
